Let’s start with one of the original brands. Founded in 1946, it became a notable guitar brand when they released the telecaster in 1951. It shortly became a popular choice for guitarists. It made the solid body guitar into mainstream music.

Shortly after, in 1954 they introduced the telecasters brother. The Fender Stratocaster. It immediately stood out by it’s unique shape and design. By most especially is it’s sound. The Country gentlemen was famously used by George Harrison, Chet Akins, and many others. It’s twangy and versatile sound made it a staple in 50’s music.

The Grandfather of the iconic acoustic guitar, Martin guitars are possibly the most famous acoustic guitar brand ever! First founded in 1833, it had a long a reputation of making amazing instruments.
